Crafted from bitter oranges
AMARGÉRO is crafted from fully ripe Mallorcan bitter oranges, which have been cultivated for over 4000 years on the island. We partner with a family-owned, local distillery that has been in the same ownership for 120 years. Much of the process is done by hand, in the very small quantities we’re able to produce, and is bottled without any additives or filtering.

The farm
In the quiet and rural interior of Mallorca between Sencelles and Binissalem, we have been cultivating an approx. 4 hectare piece of land since 2017. More than 20 different tree species grow here, a total of more than 500 trees. In addition to olives (Arbequina and Picual) and almonds, we grow various types of citrus (sweet oranges, bitter oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, lemons, limes, bergamots), numerous pomegranate trees and other fruit trees.

Our favorite cocktail
Amargéro Negroni (Inspired by Salvador from Bar Club Pollença, Mallorca)
3 cl Amargéro
3 cl red vermouth (alternatively white vermouth)
3 cl Gin
Pour into a cocktail mixing glass along with plenty of ice cubes, and stir for at least 1 minute until the contents are very cold. Then drain into a pre-chilled tumbler with a large ice cube and garnish with 2 orange slices quarters (use grapefruit or lemon slices for garnish in the white vermouth version!)
